All black was also well-liked. Cate Blanchett and Yvonne Orji wore extensive black dresses with white accents (pearls for Blanchett, shoes for Orji). Anna Taylor-Joy wore a futuristic hooded minidress, although Cynthia Erivo’s copper gown with asymmetric neckline appeared like a thing from another planet, as did Florence Pugh’s orange tulle design and style and Sheila Atim’s silver “foil” dress with matching gloves.
