Mitch McConnell’s new favorite Democrat
CNN — On Monday, Mitch McConnell did a little something odd: He effusively praised a Democrat. The Senate minority chief called Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema “the most successful very first-expression senator I have observed in my time in the Senate,” which is large praise when you consider that McConnell has been a member of the world’s biggest deliberative body considering the fact that 1985.
