College Board calls Florida attacks on AP African American Studies course “false and politically motivated”

On Feb. 7, the state’s Workplace of Articulation wrote to the Higher education Board in reaction to its revised curriculum, saying that “by no coincidence, we were grateful to see that the College Board’s revised February 1, 2023, framework eradicated 19 subjects, numerous of which FDOE cited as conflicting with Florida regulation, which include discriminatory and traditionally fictional subject areas.”
