A hospice facility in Iowa has been fined $10,000 right after it mistakenly presumed a girl dead hours ahead of she was uncovered gasping for air inside a human body bag at a funeral dwelling, officers stated. A nurse at Glen Oaks Alzheimer’s Particular Care Centre in Urbandale established that the 66-12 months-old girl experienced died on Jan. 3, and the resident was transferred to a funeral house, the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals said in a report issued Wednesday.
